2017 夏 • Flash Visit • San Francisco
This was my 4th visit to San Francisco and my 4th business trip to US as well.
It started with a panic over my expired US travel visa. I had my visa interview expedited; interviewed today, got back my passport the next day and flied in two days.
After a thrilling fortnight, finally relieved to get ready for takeoff 🛫
Angels 👼 are everywhere. I'm blessed 🍀
I'd rather to have KFC but it is not available. This is a close substitute but nothing close... Merely better than nothing.

The HK/Zhuhai/Macau bridge at afar....
The flight was delayed for nearly four hours due to a computer issue affecting the automatic refueling process.
Well, at least we were not asked to get off... my bad luck continued, and not aware it was only the start...

I started to feel sick during the flight...
And here landed the San Francisco Airport.

This was supposed to be a decent meal with great steak, however after a long haul flight and catching a flu, I did not enjoy it very much. Food was actually good.
Not a very good idea of dinning out on the arrival day, given I cannot sleep well on flight and also I have serious jet lag problem.
The porterhouse was delicious, but I'd prefer less herbs, it was a bit too strong on the sweet side.
This truffle fries was fantastic, we could not finish it, what a shame!
This is a fusion restaurant of adding Japanese elements to traditional US steakhouse. However this asparagus tempura did not work, the crispy tempura skin kept peeling off. The asparagus itself was great though.
A nice gimmick of free cotton candy for each table. Lovely.
Yet I did not try since I started to cough a lot...
The next day we went to the Cheesecake Factory for dinner.
This dinner was my first and only meal the whole day; I was sleeping throughout the day. Terribly sick, and jet lag.
It lives it's name - cheesecake was wonderful. This caramel cheesecake was so moist, smooth and rich in flavor. However, all savory dishes were disappointing. Sooooo much salt added. The pasta and the buffalo wings are terribly salty.
My third business trip to the Yahoo Sunnyvale Campus.
Always sunny good days in Sunnyvale.

The next day, we came back to Cheesecake Factory for dinner again, we missed (actually not me since I was so sick through the trip) the cake so we were here again!
Again, even the steak was below par...
Fries were good though.
Cheesecakes the best!
Leaving the hotel I stayed for four nights.
Finally Hello Kitty arrived at the Yahoo Sunnyvale campus.
On the departure day, we spent an afternoon at San Francisco. So nice the weather with big blue sky.
Perhaps I was sick, this time it was less delicious than the one I had a few years ago.
The Palace of Fine Arts, the most beautiful place in San Francisco. Last time I visited this place it was under renovation and on a more cloudy day.
My 4th visit to the Golden Gate Bridge.
Already not bad; my first 3 visits all in mist.
Bye again San Francisco~
This wonton noodle was my comfort food through the whole trip. I coughed so terribly that they gave me a glass of lemon water...
My business class meal, should be nice - again I was so sick I just took some bites.
And I skipped the breakfast completely...
Perhaps my last visit to the Yahoo campus...?
