After breakfast, we toured a bit the hotel facilities.

Today was Sunday, we planned to enjoy a lazy day of doing nothing apart from eating and spa. Booked a Sunday buffet brunch!

Before the buffet, we went shopping at Big C, the most popular souvenir shop.

(We failed to get the tax refund at the airport, not knowing that we needed to have the goods inspected BEFORE going into the departure hall.)

We bought so many!

This was a copy of the popular Tokyo Banana.
It was disappointing; do not buy it! :(

We really enjoyed the nice view of the city.

Okay it's time for a decent brunch on this lazy Sunday. The restaurant was located inside a hotel just a couple of blocks away from our hotel. It is a classy hotel, a real one (thus we did not stay there it's pricy). XD

Unlimited made-to-order lobsters, beef steaks, foie gras, seafood, plus oysters, and many others including the amazing dessert corner.

Oh, almost forgot about the free flow of drinks. 🥂🥂🥂🎉🍹🍷🍸😋😋😋

We got a table by the window, so happy of continuing to enjoy the great view of the sports club.

They were lovely. :)

I ordered four times, ie, two lobsters today. The last order was the most wonderful; juicy, fresh and meaty, perfectly grilled!

And I ordered four times the foie gras too!!!

Caramel very nice. Ginger was sorbet with a spicy aftertaste. Thai milk tea was really really good!!!!! ☕️

Enjoyed a lazy and full afternoon with the great view of the sports club. Horse racing today, a lot of people on the stands. 🐎 🐴

Loved this Sunday brunch.
No crowds of people grabbing food, excellent services, for each glass of wine they actually came to our table to show us the bottle before giving us the glass of wine. The idea of made-to-order was wonderful, I enjoyed the zero boundary between customers and the chefs as we ordered our hot dishes. And most importantly, food and beverages tasted good.
I definitely wanted a return!

Afterwards, it was time for a really good spa.

We went to Asok again, seems like Asok was full of spa and massage places?

We did Divana a decade ago - our last Bangkok trip was at 2006. I felt relaxed and satisfied, on both visits. It was not cheap, but worthy. One of the best spa in Bangkok.
