Delicious Thai soup noodles! This was so good that we decided to order it again the next morning!
We did not have much to do today (actually nothing to do everyday...), so we first walked to Central World; so early that shops not yet opened!

We started with some briefings at a local market to bring to the school some ingredients, herbs and spices.

Inside the school, there were a working bench, tasting tables and cooking stoves.

Loved the raw herbs and spices which tasted a lot better than those bought from the shelves. Smelled great!!!

Since it was not too late after the class, we walked to Saphan Taksin, wanted to go visiting the temples.

At Saphan Taksin, we had to take "boat trip" to continue. It was the only unpleasant experience in the trip. Hot and sweating, the boat trip arrangement was terrible with unclear instructions.
The temples were gorgeous and I would love to spend a full day slowly visiting all of them. But, not the boat again!

It was under maintenance, but its beauty could not be hided. I would like to go again, under a beautiful sunset.
We decided to go back to the city by taxi instead of suffering that boat thing again. The first two taxi refused to go by meter and offered 200baht, luckily we got into one who was willing to go by meter and it was only 60baht!

Food quality so-so, and the truffle fries was terrible. Overly-deep-fried to tasteless thin pieces of fried batter, if I were not told I could not tell this was potato. Truffle? Forgot it.
The mushroom and lobster soups were better dishes tonight. Yet, the hotel Sunday brunch's lobster soup tasted better, this one was salty.
We ordered two risotto, one signature ham risotto and one black squid ink. They were not hot just lukewarm, the ham one was too salty and the ink one not sweet at all.
The vanilla ice-cream was complimentary, no idea was it because of my complaint of the truffle fries. Sadly, the ice-cream was sugary sweet.
Overpriced for mediocre food.....
